What kinds of works are included in SOAR, our institutional repository?
Can I submit my thesis? What about a book review that was just published?
Answer
The goal of SOAR is to provide an openly accessible venue to share SUNY Oneonta authors' intellectual output. We accept:
- peer-reviewed, published journal articles;
- book reviews published in journals;
- conference papers;
- graduate student theses and culminating projects;
- SUNY Oneonta-hosted peer-reviewed journal issues; and
- multimedia or published paper accounts of or artifacts from scholarly or creative events at SUNY Oneonta.
We do not include student work completed for a class. SUNY-authored open educational resources (OER) can be archived in our collection in the SUNY Digital Repository.
If you have other items for consideration, please contact openaccess@oneonta.edu.
