What is the library policy on food and drink?
Answer
With some noted exceptions (including study rooms and library classrooms), drinks in covered containers are permitted in the library. Except for the first floor, food is discouraged. Individuals engaged in longer-than-necessary de-masking with food or drink, or groups eating together may be asked to seek another location on campus. This policy helps ensure that visitors adhere to the College policy of wearing masks in community spaces as well as minimize food containers in library space. Masks are to be worn when not actively eating or drinking.
