How do I access the New York Times digital subscription?

Answer

To activate your access to the New York Times (NYT) digital subscription, follow the steps below or scan the QR code at the end of this FAQ:

  1. Go to https://nytimesineducation.com/access-nyt/ and then type in SUNY Oneonta to land on our direct pass page.

  2. Once you find and select SUNY Oneonta from the drop down menu, you will be directed to the Oneonta's specific landing page at https://nytimesineducation.com/access-nyt/suny-oneonta-oneonta-ny/.

  3. To activate the on-campus option, which will authenticate your location via the campus IP address, you will need to login and then you will be granted access.

  4. To activate the remote option, you will select the off-campus link via the Go button (see below) which will direct you to the SUNY Oneonta proxy page at https://oneonta.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://ezmyaccount.nytimes.com/group-pass). Then you will need to login with your institutional credentials and create a New York Times account to be granted access.
